Yo people, I've not been around for a while.

PROJECT HAS FINALLY ENDED! *ULTIMATE HAPPY DANCE OF ULTIMATE JOY!*

But yeah, lol, also Christmas was fun ^^. I finally talked my parents into getting me a PS2! So can has awesome games for the win! And they got a Wii... WTF?! This was the most baffling thing... my parents... who refused to by me or Ruth ANYTHING related to console games other than hand held ones, who turned their nose up at the concept... bought a Wii for themselves... WTF?!

And it looks like we have a house in Dunkirk... which is near Main Campus. It's a little far from my actual lectures and the like... but the benefits from actually living IN Nottingham far outweigh this. And anyway... both Dan and I will have cars so we can swap lifts and its a 10 min walk from the shuttle bus... shite as it is. Anyway... benefits include close to societies, close to society people, can drink in pub, close to Nottingham and I AM LIVING WITH AWESOME PEOPLE.

Oh yeah and I've become addicted to Zero Punctuation.

I got dumped on Friday.

Wow, I've never been dumped before. It's kinda sad, 21 and never been dumped. Oh well, I guess it's one of those life lessons you need to learn.

It just rankles cos I ended up ruined a perfectly good evening by bawling on everyone >_<. It was Jenny's birthday party and I ruined it. I guess it was kinda my fault in that I asked the question. Hey, Gemma nagged me about it, I kept complaining to people that we never spoke to each other anymore. I guess there was that, and other things that should have tipped me off, but...first relationship and I really wanted it to work, no matter how bad it seemed. I wasn't expecting a reply like that.

I'm really stupid.

And it really hurts since it was like, two days off our anniversary, our proper anniversary too.

She courted me for while beforehand too, does that mean I have an interest half-life of two years? That's good to know. Was it two years? I don't know.

I dropped all of a bottle of acrylamide, the dangerous liquid acrylamide, on the floor today. I felt so proud T_T. I got some on my trousers and was commanded to go home and change them before my legs fell off T_T.

I'm so confused. Things are brilliant one second, baffling the next and annoying the second after. And people keep changing things D: I can't cope, I like structured plans >3<

Wednesday was fun. We had the Scifi quiz, and our team WON!! It was quite spectacular, especially since one of the critera for joining our team was to know nothing. Most of us were Anime geeks, who were at a serious disadvantage due to the lack of Anime round D: But somehow we pooled our resources and yanked a surprise win out of the hat ^^.

Epic stuff!

We won a box of Minature Heroes, which Dan, Susan and I ate most of on the walk to the bar XD. It was fuuuuuuun.

Then the next day we finally managed to complete the Western Blot we'd been working on since Monday ¬_¬ and the result was amusingly BAD! We were going to try and start another one that evening, but things were taking too long so we had to begin again the next day. Today it was terrible. The first gel we had to make to fill a hole in the apparatus is supposed to be a quick setting gel. It took us six...SIX attempts, and all morning just to do that T_T. We were practically in tears by the end of it, and cheered when it FINALLY worked! Fortunately the other gels set when they were supposed to, so it wasn't too bad. But it was annoying.

Anyway, last night I also found out that I won't be able to stay over at ketsi_aiita_n's this weekend like we'd planned. So today alongside messing around with stupid gels I've been organising a trip home to pick up some stuff from home, including some coats, a bike and ALL THE MANGA I HAVE EVER OWNED 8DD. And I get to go to the SciFi social on saturday, so it's not too bad. It's a shame though cos I was looking forward to it ):

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to catch up on other internet things while at home ^^.

It makes me feel better about the fact that I am about to go and watch Anime for a period of time with Dan who I met on Wednesday and has the second Bleach movie... ALJDAKFLNDJKLS!!!! OMG HISTUGAYA!! Anyway, that is NOT the only reason I associate with him I swears *shifty eyes* norly he's a nice guy.

So I will effectively ruin my good working streak with Bleach XD. It'll be Fuuuuuuuun.

I am so behind on posting, but what can I say? Holiday and EMS wiped me out >_< That said they were good. I love the Alps and while Tam O'Shanter was a bit of a dos it was good fun and the pig farm was epicly manly XD. I think I'll miss them, they were quite exciting.

Anyway back at uni, our house is cool. My room is big and awesome now I've rearranged it and got a desk and bookshelf. We have no Internet atm, which is rubbish and I have only just found out how my project is going to work. This also means I may have to actually work at some point >_<. I need to write a literary review T_T.

And I've joined the SciFi and Anime soc, and this year I'm GOING to it.

Good lord it's been a while since I updated.

Anyway...I finally got to go home...and have organised all my EMS...somehow arranging it so I have little to no free time from 25th July onward >_<

I've now done my first week of EMS and have just got back from an epic holiday in Oban, Scotland. It was only a weekend but my girlfriend and I are definately going back at some point ^^. I love Scotland...it's so beautiful, if a tad wet at times.

I'm tired now...and have a few day's break before I go on holiday with my family for two weeks so lol.

I rly need to write some fic...and maybe draw some shit. Oh well.

This is shit, we've DONE our effing exams but we're stuck here for an extra two weeks doing statistics T_T. I hated statistics at A level and it seems that hasn't changed...except I could DO statistics at A level, which made it bearable.

Hi all, it's been quite a while since I updated here...and I've actually forgotten what I last talked about ^^; Ohwell.

I won't bother going through shit-that's-happened...there's not actually anything that exciting. Other than term's ended and our two weeks of Study Leave are almost over and I have my first exam tomorrow.

I went to the first meeting of the Yu Gi Oh! Dueling Club this Wednesday ^^. There were only four of us and we basically sat around and talked for most of it...but it was so much fun ^^.

We were pretty much all Nerds...so we sat around and talked about Yu Gi Oh!, YGO TAS, comics, games, films and randomly...our pets o_O. It was so fun to sit around and talk with interesting like minded, but oddly different people. Thing was, we're all interested in various things, from models to games to trading card games to Anime (me ^^). So we all brought different things, but all had things in common.

Out of the four of us, there were two girls and two guys, how evenly matched can you get ^^. The Guy organising it all, Ross is brilliant. He was the biggest Nerd there, mastering all five pillars of nerdiness. The rest of us could only cover 3 each. I duelled Ross 3 times at the end, since I was the only other person who'd brought my deck.

I lost every time...which isn't that surprising...I've not been collecting that long, and have only played against ketsi_aiita_n whereas he'd been collecting since before the series started, has been to tournaments and everything, he even has his own Duel Disk o_O... yes he is THAT cool!

My thrilling social life aside...I've started watching Yu Gi Oh!GX. 4Kids make my brain hurt T_T. You know all those stupid quotes you hear in TAS...HE ACTUALLY SAYS THEM!!! T_T And I think Jaden (Judai) is voiced by Yoh/Hao from Shaman King o_O. So again the voice acting isn't BAD...its just the scripting and adaption that sucks...

In comparison the Japanese is very watchable...I actually liked the first few Japs eps...then they ran out and I'm now stuck with dub hell. I wailed like a five year old for a while ^_^;

And BBCiplayer hates me *glares at it* not letting me watch Doctor Who.

Well, I'm back here again ^^

And it's FREEZING!! One of the motivations for coming back to uni was to get away from my fucking freezing room at home >_< Oh well...hopefully it'll warm up in a bit.

I miss my girlfriend as well T_T, it makes me sad to leave her, and due to exams and coursework and shit on both our parts it'll be ages till I see her again T_T.

But on a happier note MY DEATH NOTE NOVEL FINALLY CAME 8DDDDDDDD

YAY!!

I ordered it at the end of Febuary...and it's only just arrived...Amazon told me it would come on the 11th of MARCH T_T

What have I been doing these 4 weeks of Easter holiday? Oscillating between shitloads and Not Much. First 12 days I worked my ASS off at a Stud farm near uni...dealing with pissy ponies. Seriously tho, don't mess with stallions T_T or colts for that matter...even if their shoulder only reaches your boob. But that aside it was fun...and there are now hopes that I may complete the required quota for my portfolio ^^.

Then I came home and did fuck all ^^... it was LURVLY!!

Anyone ever heard of the Myers-Briggs personality test?

Basically, it splits human nature into four areas, and in each of these areas you're one of two types. You then put the lot together to give you one out of sixteen personality types. It's used quite a lot in businesses and places. Basically they made us do it out of curiousity, to see what sort of people the course attracted.

Turns out my personality type is INTJ, which is also classed as "the scientist".

Now...being the Otaku that I am...obviously the one of the first things I do with this information is to try and determine the personality types of the various Anime characters I know. Now...my current obsession just happens to be Death Note, so I decided to try and classify Light, he being the main character and all...

So I thought: Light would be introverted, he doesn't need anyone else and spends a lot of time thinking things through; he would be intuitive, since he liked looking forwards and formulating big plans (obv...God of the new world etc); He looks at things logically, tends not to take into account the effect of a decision on people's feelings (he kills people...so this is a given); and he likes to plan things out beforehand rather than leaping in spontaneously... oh.

Yes...by my reckoning (I'm open to debate on this) Yagami Light would be an INTJ.

Same as me.
